It should be mentioned that both trainers were also the participants of the Male to Male involvement initiative. The participants of the training were instructed on how to run a successful training specifically tailored to the needs of the target audiences. Personal and professional characteristics of the trainers, specific trainer roles and active listening skills, various audiences, their needs as well as difficult participants were among the issues explored during the training session on the first day of the training. The participants also had a chance to discuss the training scope as well as training portfolio related issues. The second day took the participants further into the training skills providing them with an opportunity to practice some of the techniques learnt in the context of gender based violence.
