One of the main project components focuses on capacity-building activities targeting the staff of national gender machinery as well as other relevant actors including service providers. To name just a few, weak national machineries, insufficient professional staff, lack of preventive and protective social services are planned to be tackled through the series of coordinated activities to be held with the relevant institutions dealing with gender and GBV issues as well as women’s rights.
